Impact analysis
Taxpayers might see costs rise as the city pays for executive search firms and potential severance packages for the outgoing officials.
The city council members gain more direct control over the city's administrative direction without the oversight of the previous appointees.
Residents are the ones losing out, as the lack of experienced leadership will likely slow down city services and stall ongoing projects.
