Water Emergency and Corpus Christi Curtailment Rules

Corpus Christi's proposed Level One water emergency ordinance would set baselines favoring its own residents while squeezing wholesale customers like Rockport, which could face cuts down to roughly 4,000 gallons per household per month. Rockport joined other customer cities in demanding equal treatment, extended its own water emergency declaration, and authorized long-term water supply negotiations.
