Support for Local Nursery

A neighbor and customer expressed support for Greenstead's Nursery, emphasizing its legacy and its role as a draw for customers to Pflugerville.

A resident emphasized the urgent need for the nursery to reopen for the spring planting season and praised its focus on native and Central Texas-specific plants.

The former owner of the original nursery detailed the specific issues hindering the nursery's reopening, including the sewer line hookup problem and a neighbor's fence blocking access, and stressed the importance of opening by March.

A former employee of the original nursery and current employee of Greensleeves urged the council to expedite the reopening process for the March season, citing strong community support and the nursery's statewide recognition for native plants.
