4 issues in general with critical priority
Lanana Creek Trail North Bridge Construction
Nacogdoches is showing off progress on local construction projects, giving residents a chance to see if their daily commute is about to get smoother. It’s a good time to check the city’s roadmap to see if your neighborhood is slated for upcoming improvements.
Health Plan Sustainability
Nacogdoches just hit a list for having some of the highest STD rates in Texas, which is a major wake-up call for our local health services. It’s time for the city to get serious about expanding testing and making sure everyone has access to the care they need.
Manufactured Housing Zoning Compliance
Nacogdoches is cracking down on street-parked RVs, limiting them to just 24 hours in residential areas. If you've got a camper sitting in front of your house, you'll need to find a storage facility or private lot to avoid a ticket.
Wastewater Infrastructure Upgrades
Nacogdoches is dropping $30 million to fix up aging utility lines and boost service reliability. It’s a massive upgrade, but keep an eye on your monthly bills to see if the costs get passed down to residents.
