Cultural Arts Designation
Summary
Nacogdoches is trying to lock down a 'Music Friendly Community' badge to draw in tourists and give local musicians a serious boost. If the City Council votes yes, it could put our local music scene on the map and bring in some fresh economic energy.

Impact analysis
It could cost a little upfront for the application and marketing, but it should pay off by bringing more tourist dollars to local hotels, restaurants, and venues.
Local musicians, venue owners, and downtown businesses will love this because it brings more eyes—and wallets—to their gigs and shops.
