ENNIS – Loloi Rugs cut the ribbon on its new distribution facility in Ennis last Wednesday. The Greater Ennis Chamber of Commerce, along with Loloi Rug president and owner Amir Loloi and other company leaders, took part in the ribbon cutting. “For 20 years, Loloi has brought thoughtful design and centuries-old craftsmanship together to create distinctive rugs, pillows and home décor enjoyed across the country,” the Greater Ennis Chamber of Commerce posted on social media.

Midlothian Council shows solidarity approving new data center facility | Ellis County Press
MIDLOTHIAN – While many residents in Ellis County have been rallying against incoming data centers, the Midlothian City Council in a show of solidarity approved a proposal for a new data center facility at the Sept. 22 city council meeting. The data center facility will be on an 873.8-acre property in the southern part of Midlothian. The unanimous approval was decided after 90 minutes of discussion, and motions. Three motions overall were approved to greenlight the new project.
