City Manager Appointment
Lewisville has a new city manager, and this person will be calling the shots on how the city operates daily. It's a key leadership role, so pay attention to who's been appointed and what their plans are.
Hookah Lounge Regulation
Lewisville just put a stop to smoking in all city parks. So, if you're a smoker, you'll have to take your habit elsewhere.
Lakes at Castle Hills Expansion
Lewisville is growing! The huge Castle Hills neighborhood is officially joining the city limits. This means new residents and likely some changes to services and development in the area.
Short-term Rental Ban
Lewisville is hitting the pause button on new short-term rental permits for a whole year. This means no new Airbnbs or similar rentals can pop up while the city figures out the rules.
