Granddaughter of Garden Ridge's founding developers, Harold and Ramona Miller, she opposed the project citing aquifer recharge loss from concrete, dry wells nearby, the endangered Mexican free-tailed bat colony, traffic, and deer killed on roads — while crediting the developer for keeping the three-quarter-acre lot and home-size minimums.
