A 2025 study found Creek Street and Friendship Lane failing at level of service F. Two signals would cost about $1 million; Creek Street alone is roughly $600,000. Council is considering using reserves, possibly with school district partnership.
Old San Antonio Road Bridge Closure
Flood-damaged bridges across the county — most notably on Old San Antonio Road — will be closed for a long while because the county lacks funds to rebuild, forcing detours through Cane City or Highway 87. The city is rolling up damage reports to the state for possible FEMA help.
Frederick Road thoroughfare alignment and Goehmann Lane development
