Short-term Rental Regulations
Flower Mound's neighbors in Argyle are looking to clamp down hard on short-term rentals like Airbnbs, potentially banning them from neighborhoods completely and hiking permit fees to $500. If you live nearby or follow regional housing trends, this kind of strict regulation could soon become the new normal across our local communities.
License Plate Reader Ban
Justin is weighing a complete ban on stationary license plate reading cameras, like Flock, to stop potential surveillance abuses, even though cops could still use them on patrol cars. It’s part of a growing local debate over privacy versus police tech.
Early Voting
Flower Mound residents, get ready to vote! Early voting is just around the corner, so mark your calendars and find out where you need to go to make your voice heard.
D-CAD Board Nomination
Flower Mound has a new library director! Get ready for new leadership and potentially new programs at your local library.
Aerial Spraying
