Facility Closure
Summary
The Duncanville Starcenter has officially shut down, and locals are rightfully annoyed by the city's lack of clear communication. It’s a frustrating example of poor management that raises real questions about how our public facilities are being run.

Impact analysis
Closing this facility likely means a loss of revenue for the city and a hit to the local businesses that relied on the foot traffic.
Honestly, nobody really wins here, though the city might save on short-term maintenance costs by shuttering the building.
Local families, athletes, and community members who used the center for recreation are the ones left without a place to go.
