Drainage and Stormwater Fee
Conroe is facing a huge $210 million bill to fix up its drainage system, but city leaders just hit pause on a new stormwater fee that would have cost residents. For now, the pricey upgrades are on hold while officials rethink how to pay for them without hitting everyday folks in the wallet.
Drought Plan
Kyle just relaxed its watering rules, giving residents more freedom to keep their lawns and landscaping green. If you've been stressing over keeping your grass alive during the dry spells, you now have a bit more breathing room.
