Pct. 4 constable's office arrests Liberty man in meth investigation

The Liberty County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office concluded a narcotics investigation Tuesday, Oct. 6, with the arrest of a Liberty man accused of selling methamphetamine to an undercover officer. Floyd Eugene Baker, 50, of Liberty, was taken into custody on a felony warrant charging him with Delivery of a Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1, 4-200 grams, a first-degree felony.

Liberty County man arrested on five child pornography warrants

The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Liberty County man on five felony warrants following an investigation into the possession and promotion of child pornography. The investigation began after Liberty County Sheriff’s Office investigators received information through the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force regarding multiple cybertip reports linked to the same user account. The reports indicated that images and videos depicting a child under the age of 18 engaged in sexually explicit conduct had been uploaded through an online messaging platform.
