FY 2026 Proposed Budget & Tax Rate

Tammy thanked the city staff for increased transparency in the budget documents and urged the council to give taxpayers relief by lowering the tax rate instead of growing government.

During the public hearing on the revised budget, Tammy questioned why the city consistently has a $2 million year-end surplus while taking out certificates of obligation for equipment.
